We have four new things going on in the Young Married’s Ministry that you need to be aware of:

1) New Time and Location: To ease the transition that will take place once the new sanctuary is completed starting August 17th, the Sunday gathering will be held in room 103 at 9:50 A.M.

2) New study of Song of Solomon: Starting Sunday September 21st

3) Kickoff Dinner: Saturday September 20th, Mark your calendars! More details to follow…

4) Retreat to Refreshing Mountain: November14th-16th. See details here.

Since June is YMM Service month we want to be proactive in our service. There are several opportunities available for serving this month starting with this Sunday. We all know that Jesus, as a show of service, washed his disciples feet, a task usually reserved for the lowest of servants and slaves. Our “limbo” is to see how low we will go in our service.

We will meet up in Room 124 at 11:30 (as usual) and from there we will set out to perform some services for our church. Some of the planned activities are:

• Pull weeds (gloves & buckets provided)
• Cleaning windows (supplies provided)
• Empty diaper pails for WonderWorks
• Clean bathrooms
• Empty trash
• Fix door
• …and more

So come prepared to serve and be blessed.

Jesus called us all to be servants. What better way is there to share the love of Christ than through service to our fellow man. June is Service month for YMM. Each week there will be a different emphasis on service but there is a twist. Instead of just discussing service we are actually going to serve.

Recently we implemented some changes to our website (Click Here for details) so that we can keep all of our contact information up to date. One remaining fix is to update our automated email system. If you periodically receive email updates from this website and would like to continue to receive these updates there is something you will need to do.

If you haven’t already, before June 30, 2008, you need to navigate to our new YMM Address Book (look to the right side of the home page under “Navigation”) and register. This will help us ensure that we have your latest contact information so that we can keep you up to date. In addition, you will be able to manage this account yourself in the event that your information changes.

After June 30th, the current email list will be purged and only those registered in the new system will receive emails. If you have any problems or questions you can contact us at youngmarrieds1 @ gmail.com or for address book questions contact ymmhelp @ jadcon.com.
